The core technology is the land-based aquaculture technique known as the Fish Protech Controlled Aquaculture System (“Fish Protech CAS”). The system covers      - production technology,      - the proprietary equipment,      - installation,      - start up services,      - farm operational and management know-how,      - fingerlings,      - fish feed formulae,      - post-harvest processing techniques The proven Fish Protech CAS is more cost-efficient than conventional aquaculture methods such as sea-based or pond aquacultures. This system is an Australian developed technology capable of rearing and breeding of both freshwater and marine fish in tanks, housed indoors, under a controlled and regulated environment,” said Mr. Johannes Don, the Australian entrepreneur, engineer and inventor of Fish Protech CAS. As such, fish produced using Fish Protech CAS are free from diseases commonly associated with other outdoor aquaculture methods. The system is fully integrated, automated and climate-controlled. With strict water quality management, CAS creates a stress-free environment for the fish. The ideal growing conditions enable improved productivity, mortality rates of less than 5% and feed-to-fish conversion ratio of almost 1:1. By avoiding contact with any outdoor contamination, using treated water, organic feed and Specific Pathogens Free fingerlings, Fish Protech CAS produces organically-farmed fish guaranteed free of chemicals, antibiotics and other pollutants.
